Love the idea of layering as the weather in DC changes from absolutely inhuman to slightly more tolerable. As we near the end of March, we might be able to get away with wearing a blazer as a jacket, but would probably need something more than a t-shirt underneath. That's why I encourage light layers such as those pictured here. The key to not looking bulky is to pick thin material and complimentary colors. The nude colors of the jacket and cardigan are in step with the nude trend of the upcoming season. The cardigan also has a floral print, which is another spring trend. The light denim gives the whole outfit an airy feel. Perfect for brunch on an outside patio (can you tell I am looking forward to warm weather??). Shop this outfit here.
